Memory Lane

In the midst of all that is (pick a grade, any grade; pick a subject, any subject; pick an allergy, any allergy), I am deleting files to make more space on my computer.

I did not delete the following:

"NO ACT OF KINDNESS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL IS EVER WASTED" AESOP

Once, when I was a kid, I petted a bunny for a while until I realized it
was dead. I only mention this as point of contrast...

Chris

It makes me feel better on so many levels (even when I'm already feeling pretty good). I also re-read an old email from Erin containing only the words "in Hoover they trusted and now they are busted." Fairly clear which types of history I'd prefer not be repeated, no?

Here's another sample, for good measure:

--That'd kind of be a fun game all in all: adding the undead to Paul Simon songs.--

I have no idea who sent the last e-mail -- or why -- but I have a vivid memory of that discussion.

(I think I was wearing a blue shirt.)

It was originally sent by The Guy Who Was My Bofriend for Nine Years (TGWWMBNN), but I'm pretty sure I circulated it awhile back due to its zombie content.

I think it's still a safe assumption that you were wearing a blue shirt.

I think the conversation that TGWWMBNN and I were having was somehow linked to something I accidentally said...or we were coming up with something beyond our non-existent Morissey Sings Favorite Children's Songs idea.

I didn't have high expectations for the Paul Simon songs but they actually made me laugh out loud. Maybe I'm just tired.

It's that special combination of puns and tacking on of extra words--they can really work a number on the zombie fanatic or the those of lowered blood sugar.

PS I have a hankering to eat at Sarabeth's.
