I have trouble opening oranges because I dont have fingernails long enough to get under the skin without spearing my fingers into the fruit, rendering it inedible in my mind. I can, however, eat the bug filled blackberries that grow over the bedding and suitcases and traffic cones under the freeway overpass. Some of the most succulent berries I have ever seen are dangling in such a way that they are just out of reach at all times, even when I hoist the tiny roomate on my shoulders to reach at the briar filled bushes. Peaches, however, have potential for perfection. A perfect peach will run down your forearm at first bite and drip off your elbows and the tip of your nose. Today is a juicy day.
