Posted by Sonya at May 5, 2004 08:28 AMIt helps a bit knowing that well-built boat can usually take much more punishment than her crew, so I hope you can stay with her for as long as possible. But sometimes, despite heroic efforts, you simply have no choice but to abandon ship.
I do not envy you, but I do wish you smooth sailing through the heavy seas. In the meantime, I'm sure there will be a lot of people out there monitoring channel 16 and keeping a sharp lookout for flares.
