You never seem to change

My mom is down in So. Idaho. Her oldest brother was taken off of life support and is subsequently deceased, so she went down for the funeral. The day after the funeral, my grandmother's husband of 30+ years passed. The funeral is Thursday. I'm nervous that 1...2... means 3, if you get my drift.

I'm probably not going to make any of the services, although I'd really like to see the other members of my family. I gave my presentation last night (to riotous applause. Everybody in my PNW history class is as geeked out on it as I am.) I'm walking downtown to get my food handlers permit today, after which I'm going to write a final paper and get started on my final exam prep.

I got my first paycheck from TpPt. It's the first time I've opened a sub 200 dollar paycheck in a long time. I knew it was coming, and I'm fine with it (the loan check also came recently), but it's still a kick in the pants.

I can't wait to tell you about the fight I saw directly followed by a guy in a bear suit. Finals first. Bear suit later.

Bear suit, huh? I'll look forward to that story.

did you really walk? because i saw a scooter downtown that looked a lot like yours, and god knows there's only one scooter like that in seattle.
