roll out the barrell

I just crafted a works referenced page so fantastic and decadent that it made me drool a little bit. I've been sitting crosslegged on the floor like a good little monk for hours now. Listening to dramatic big band music relating to the second world war and considering the 1942 race riots in relation to Bing Crosby and Irving Berlin. Did you know that I own a fantastic amount of music released by Readers Digest? I do. I'm the queen of 10 record compilations.

What I thought was going to be a 3am, 15 hour car ride with both my sisters, my dad and seven kids has turned out to be a 5am, 8 hour car ride with my dad, one sister, and 3 kids who are actually almost my age. (I was only five when b. was born. We're closer in age than Cake and I.)

I just finished my research paper, and when I looked out the window I thought for sure it was going to be 8:30 or 9 because it's pitch fucking black out. No! 6:38! Daylight losing just scored it's first point by suprising me in a delightful manner. And I finished my paper!

I'll come back from So. Idaho with strange but familiar smells in my memory and pictures of my family. And my nephew's last football game before graduation. The sweet little baby is graduating! (weird.)
