I wish I had a river so long

Don't you hate it when you and somebody are walking along together and it seems like everybody's on the same path and then you suddenly realize that it only *appeared* as though they were walking next to you? They were walking in a parallel universe the entire time.

(I just tried to pluralize universe, and it took me a moment to remember why it wouldn't work.)

And yes, I agree about not liking it. But it sure does happen a lot, don't it? Almost like everybody's in their own little universe all the time.

Multiverse. Although in this specific instance Personverse (Soloverse?) might be more appropriate.

And I also agree re: the disliking.
