Don't you want to take me out for pinball and hot dogs?
Posted by Sonya at May 30, 2007 09:44 AMYou know what I recently learned is fun in kind of the same way that pinball and hot dogs are fun? Golf and vodka. I know they seem really different, but the kind of fun they are is actually really similar.

Posted by: ryan at May 30, 2007 01:36 PMOoh, back "in the day" (i.e. high school), the thing to do was to stuff a sixer of Colt 45 minis into your ball bag (if you had a large golf bag, they would just barely fit). Then, you would play nine-holes and pound a can before teeing off at each hole, except at the 1st, 9th & the par 3. This made our under-age consumption somewhat less conspicuous, since the club house was located at the junction of Holes 1 & 9, and well - you had to cut one more hole to leave six.
And on days like this, what sort of outdoor activity ISN'T made better with vodka?
But, getting back to the original question: IF I had any free time, I'd gladly go for a round of pinball & hot dogs. Unfortunately, I'm booked solid through the middle of next week.
Such is life.
