Doesn't Ken Burns look at himself on the commentary before he sends the film out? Who told him he could wear that shirt with that jacket!?

I vacillate between thinking this is so (this consists of a lot of beating my head against a wall, both metaphorically and occasionally literally) and thinking that part of the condition of being alive is worrying about all the things that are going wrong, up to and including not being alive anymore. Which is to say, yes the situation is pretty dire but it's been that way pretty much since there's been a situation.
On bad days it really brings me down. On good days I shrug and say "Oh, well" and go on about my business.
Ain't that a ray of sunshine?
