Now, I am wondering what would brownies taste like if made with Fresca instead of water...

There's a chocolate cake that you make with Coke instead of water. It just makes it sweeter.

Comte: ew.

jlp: and also one with mayonnaise. And also one with a little bit of vinegar and two bottles of red food coloring... which your husband requested for the wedding cake.

But more importantly: Yay! Yay for Paul! Congratulations! Yay for you, and yay for you and Fresca and brownies!

On the subject of incredibly bad desert ideas, my grandmother made a Sour Cream and Raisin Pie. She made it more than once. People ate it. You know what it tasted like?

Crap. That's What.

It tasted like someone put sugar and sour cream and raisins into a pie crust and baked it. That's what.

My mother looked me straight in the face and said it wasn't bad and I should try it. My mother can be a very very cruel person.

mayonaise chocolate cake is AWESOME. (um. don't use olive oil mayo. blech. Neutral is good.) it stays super moist and it isn't too sweet.

Driving, driving, that's what paul likes to do.

CONGRATULATIONS. finally.

Look, I get the whole "egg whites & oil" thing, which totally makes sense in cake batter, but really, I'd much rather have a cake made with Fresca than with - ech! - mayonnaise. Because I can't stand the stuff.

You know how much I frackin' HATE maynnaise? I make tuna/chicken salad with sour cream, that's how much.

Absolutely NO future use of Batalstar Galactica curse words will be tolerated. Say fuck, or don't but not "frack". You stand duly warned.

I totally mean it too.
