Dear Tom Donnelly:
Who the fuck are you and why do you know so much about everything military that you are on the TV and radio all the time? What is your job? Who do you work for? What is your resume? Who have you worked for in the past? Why do Radio and TV people call you all the time? I've never seen you on TV, just heard your voice. Yesterday it was about keeping Iraq safe for Americans to be there forever as far as you were concerned. Today it was about making sure China could never move large numbers of people beyond their borders. To wit: that China could never do anything as crazy as say sending over 100,000 people more than 10,000 miles to overthrow a government.
What are you doing dude?
I hate it when people [look things up on a popular search engine whose name is apparently blocked from these comments] things and then put long-winded answers to blogger questions that readers and blogger could look up themselves if they wanted to. so, sorry. but I got curious and looked him up and he's scary and if his voice is everywhere then maybe a word of warning is allowed in this case. He's a Director at the Project for a New American Century, a super conservative think tank organization with a mission to fix foreign and military policy for "American Global Leadership" Which I guess could be gathered from what you've heard him say. Anyway, I'm not being a know-it-all. I admit I looked it up. But here's his bio:

That tells me all I need to know.

Hell, drop me a line if you need anything. I realize we scarcely know each other but the boats we are in are so similar, these boats. So seriously, do let me know if there's a little something you need, errand done, whatever.
May the new world be a good, happy one!

Posted by: Tina at February 16, 2006 12:06 PMTom Donnelly is one of those people with a job I can't understand. It seems like they just sit around and talk about things and worry about them and make other people worry about them and hope those other people think about them and worry about them the same way he does. It's People called things like Commentators, Pundits, Talking Heads that make me wonder, in a more philosophical way. What do you do, man? I mean realy DO?
These are the jobs that side-step the Lloyd Dobbler problem. They seem not to sell anything, buy anything or process anything.
It freaks me out.
